Krish Dhanam was born in the coastal town of Vizag, in Andhra Pradesh, India. His early schooling and eventual undergraduate work was also completed there. In 1984 he fi nished his MBA at the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad, India.
Sherrill S. Cannon – Santa’s Birthday Gift
Author Sherrill S. Cannon says her inspiration for this book came from her granddaughter who, after hearing the Christmas story, asked, “But where’s Santa?” Cannon has been weaving stories and poems even before she could write. She enjoys the creative process and says her goal in each book is to teach good manners, as well as caring for others. Her background is in physical education, sports photography and she also had a column in a newspaper. Cannon is already working on several new children’s books.
Rev. Kathleene Card & Dr. Dianne Martin – Pray. Act. Pray Again
The Reverend Kathleene Card is an Elder in the United Methodist Church, and the pastor of a congregation in McLean, Virginia. She has worked as both a teacher and administrator, including work as the director of External Affairs at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Dr. Dianne Martin is a computer science professor and associate vice president at George Washington University. She has been in the computer field for 40 years and was a programmer on the Apollo moon mission. Their love of God and God’s people has always been the driving force in their lives.
Vanessa Pasiadis – Don’t Call Me Cookie
Vanessa M. Pasiadis, a Cleveland, Ohio-based author, was involved in high school dramatics in Pittsburgh. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public Health with a Master’s degree in Health Administration. A former teacher and health care consultant, the author wants to help young people lead a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and fun. Illustrator Anna Lowenstein attends high school in Cleveland, Ohio.
Nick K. Adams – The Uncivil War
Author Nick K. Adams is a retired elementary school teacher who lives in Lakewood, Washington with his wife, Carolyn Stover Modarelli-Adams, who created the interior artwork and cover design for The Uncivil War. He continues to research and write about the Civil War, volunteers as a CASA at Juvenile Court, and enjoys performing professionally as a storyteller.
